Hey Joe,
I’ve been enjoying your podcast. I hope that you can get last night’s webcast up as a podcast so I can go back and listen again at my leisure – it went too fast.
Anyway, in your Ask Joe segment, the first question was about multiple mic inputs into a converter with only line inputs. One option that was not mentioned is the one I use (by necessity because of the gear I have, not necessarily by choice). Instead of a new interface with multiple mic inputs or lots of individual mic pres, get a mixer with as many mic inputs as you need. A Mackie or the like can have up to a dozen decent mic pres for a really decent price. He can then take the individual line outs from each channel into his existing interface.
Thanks, and keep up the good work!
I just joined your corner and i was very excited, thinking i could win some good recording mic package you displayed . I have already organised some friends of mine to sign up for your HSC. I wonder wether there is room to win .I badly want a condenser mic for my home studio i just started
Thanks! Welcome to HSC. Unfortunately, I’ve already picked the winner for the giveaway. Maybe I’ll have another one in the future.
