Most of you know I ran a podcast last year. I had a blast doing it, but I wanted to take things in a different direction.
Hosting a podcast by yourself is fun, but most of my favorite podcasts that I listen to are hosted by two or three people.
SO…a few months ago I asked Graham Cochrane from TheRecordingRevolution.com if he would join me in doing a brand-new podcast.
Fast-forward a month or two, and Episode #1 of the Simply Recording Podcast is up and ready for you!
Go check it out! Here’s the link:

Welcome to another round of the HSC Podcast!
Show Notes:
Do you listen to the podcast? Let me know by leaving a comment here. I’ve found it takes me longer than I thought to put together the podcasts each week, so I may drop down to bi-weekly, but I’d love to hear your opinion.
I need 10 comments before I post again next week. Thanks!
Welcome to another podcast!! I didn’t get one up this week, due to some crazy misfortunes in my studio (I explain in the podcast.)
This podcast features two of my family members, my dad and my baby nephew.

Topics Covered:
- Tube shoot-out – We take a listen to swapping out the stock tube on a PreSonus TubePRE with a vintage RCA 12AX7 tube. Both are fairly over-the-top examples, but it’s interesting to hear what different tubes sound like.
- Is Mastering a Waste of Money?
- Ask Joe

I’m very excited about today’s podcast, featuring my good friend Ben Gortmaker.
Ben just released an incredible album called All’s Lost, All’s Found. And the best part? It was all recorded and mixed in his home studio. Make time to listen to this podcast. You’ll hear some great music and interesting discussion.
Ben is an independent artist out of Nashville. You can find out more about him and buy his new album at his website:
www.BenGortmaker.com
Go there now. You can stream the entire record from his site…then, after you are blown away, you can buy it.
