Everybody likes a good sale. We get all excited when a 20% off coupon comes in the mail to our favorite music store.

This ain’t no 20% off sale. This is buy one get one FREE.

And it runs until the end of the year…for the rest of 2011.

If you’ve been following HSC for a while, you know I rarely do sales. But when I DO have a sale, I want it to be epic. I want it to provide an insane amount of value to you. I want you to get a lot out of it.

Gear is Great

I love a good piece of gear — a shiny new microphone or a sexy new preamp. While I hope you get something awesome for Christmas, set aside some of your Christmas money to make sure you’re getting the most out of your equipment. All the new gear in the world doesn’t guarantee great-sounding recordings and mixes.

The difference? You.

Invest in Yourself

There are two basic ways to invest in your studio — you can invest in gear or you can invest in you. I recommend both. If you don’t have ANY equipment and couldn’t sit down and record something today, then please DON’T buy anything from me. You need some gear first.

If you have gear, however, chances are you already have everything you need to make fantastic recordings you can be proud to share.

So take advantage of this two-for-one sale and brush up on your skills.

I bought Understanding EQ and Understanding Compression late last year (or maybe it was January of this year) and they are SOOOO worth it! I learned a ton from just those two series and it made an immediate and very noticeable improvement in my mixes.

Greetings Joe – I’ve sent you a comment on fb (hope that I’m not making too much mess).
I’ve bought your “understanding eq” video pack and then tried to send receipt to receive another video tutorial for free, but I can’t send you any email, this is what my post client is saying:
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

    Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 501 501 : domain missing or malformed (state 14).

    Best regards,

    • That’s odd. I can look up your order and generate your free product. No problem. What would you like for your free product?

Greetings – thanks for response, I’ve answered on facebook:
My Invoice nr 733485 – bought understanding eq. I’m interested in understanding compression. Regards and thank you for great materials.

  • I’ve got the Understanding EQ video, and it’s well worth it; even if you’ve seen many free videos, and feel like you know a fair amount about eq. Joe’s coverage of listening techniques, ear training, and description of go to frequencies for various instruments are great.
