UPDATE: Congrats to Steve for winning the scholarship! Thanks to everyone for entering. If you’d still like to be a part of the Production Club, you can join here.

It’s time, folks. The Production Club 2.0 is starting in just a little over a week. The doors open TOMORROW!

Before I open the doors, I want to give you a chance to win a free membership. Yep, I’m giving away one scholarship to the course. All you have to do to enter is to leave a comment below telling me why should I pick you to win the scholarship.

Here’s a quick video explaining the course a bit further:

Good luck!

Hello Joe – I’m applying for the free scholarship (a) for financial reasons and (b) time’s running out (I ‘m getting on in years) and whilst always having been interested in sound engineering, because of other commitments, I never pushed or pursued it as a career…too late now maybe, but basically I’m struggling getting even the small things right (I class myself as a complete novice, and I just want to go up a notch or two on a recently embarked upon personal learning curve I’ve set myself.) Digital recording is new to me (I did a bit in the old analogue days – on a reel to reel Ferograph!) and I have a batch of songs I’ve written laying around, and it would be so nice to have them recorded and burnt to CD for posterity!! Trouble is, where do I start. Hopefully this course will show me the ropes?

    Thanks for your consideration.

    • Hey Alan — Thanks for the comment, but this contest was closed back in November. Sorry!

Songwriting collaborations have ramped up, creative juices are flowing, can hardly believe people trust me to be their recording guy (even paying me small amounts)! I’ve improved my setup and gotten wayyyy better with mixing just recently, almost entirely through your info, but I need to ramp it up, improve my workflow, my mixes, the whole professional vibe. This could be a Godsend. Thanks for everything either way.
