It should come as no surprise to you that I sell training products.
The big question is this:
Why not give it all away for free?
It’s a good question.
It’s a fair question.
You might expect me to give you the “I’ve got kids to feed” speech, or maybe a nice rendition of “You have to pay for your shoes, so why wouldn’t you pay for tutorials?”
But that’s not it.
It’s much deeper than that.
If I gave all of my products away, I genuinely believe I would be doing you a disservice.
(I know that sounds like a line, but it’s true.)
I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this point on various training materials — books, seminars, videos, coaching, etc.
I’ve also absorbed lots and lots of free information on the web.
Wanna know what I’ve discovered?
When I pay for something, a switch flips in my brain. I’m invested, and you better believe I’m going to get my money’s worth.
How? By absorbing the material and applying it to my life.
In my business, for example, most (if not all) of my major breakthroughs came as a result of something I learned through a piece of information I purchased.
The free information is great, but I can take it or leave it. The paid information comes with an almost subconscious commitment to take action.
And THAT, my friend, is the major reasons why I charge for my products.
You pay a little bit on the front end, but you get WAY more value on the back end (in the form of better-sounding music).
