What You Get...

As soon as you place your order for Pro Vocal Production Playbook, you'll be taken to a members area, where you can access the course videos right away. The course is a combination of me teaching you the concepts while also demonstrating how they work on a real-world vocal recording session.

The course videos are divided up into three modules:

  • Recording - Everything you need to know to capture an incredible vocal recording (including tips on room treatment, mic placement, setting up the headphone mix, getting the best performance out of the singer, two primary methods for recording the vocal, and more). No more guesswork. After this you'll know exactly how to approach every vocal session with confidence.
  • Editing - Vocal tracks require more editing than most. In this module, I cover my approach to tricky topics like comping (how to combine multiple takes into one amazing comp track), track cleanup, and tuning (plus my philosophy on tools like AutoTune and how I changed my mind over they years). Learn how to quickly and confidently edit and tune your vocals so that they sound they're best.
  • Mixing - No vocal production course would be complete without a deep dive into the vocal mixing process. I show you my approach to using tools like EQ, compression, de-essers, delays, reverbs, automation, and more. Apply this vocal mixing process using ANY tools. Don't have any more surprises when you go to listen to your final mix. Make the vocal sit perfectly on top of the mix every time.

All of this is covered by The Most Ridiculous Guarantee on the Internet, my 365-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you're not happy, you have a FULL YEAR to request a refund. Easy peasy. (My wife thinks I'm crazy for offering this.) I want there to be NO RISK TO YOU. I want you to feel SAFE to try this out without worrying about regretting the decision later. I've been in business for 15 years. I'm not going anywhere. I've got you covered.

P.S. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions:

"What software do I need for this course?"

Any DAW software will do. I use Presonus Studio One and Melodyne Essential, but I tend to teach this stuff in CONCEPTS rather than software tricks, so everything I teach can be applied to any software. (I have plenty of students using Pro Tools, Logic, Reaper, Ableton, Cubase, etc.)

"What if I have questions?"

Each video in the course has a comments section. I check those comments every time I check my email (several times each week). You can leave your questions there.
