Attention all you chubby bunnies out there.

I’ve needed to lose some weight for a while. Recently I finally put a plan in place, and it’s working.

BUT…I’m obviously not there yet.

As you probably know, this month I’m releasing 46 new free videos over on the blog. The majority of these videos so far are camera videos of me.

That means I chose to plop my husky self down in front of a camera for all the world to see.

Would I have liked to lose that extra 30 pounds before shooting tons of new videos, forever immortalizing the extra poundage?

But what did I do?

I went for it.

I knew that it’s probably going to take me 6 months to get to my goal weight, but I have things I want to share NOW. I have people I want to help NOW. I have things I believe I am called to do NOW.

Chances are you’re tempted to do the same thing with your music. “I don’t have all the equipment I ‘need’ to record yet, so I’ll just wait around and do some ‘practicing,'” you say to yourself.

You tell yourself once you have all the right pieces in place, you’ll be able to make amazing music.

Bzzzzzzt. Wrong.

Make great music first. Upgrade gear along the way.

It wasn’t meant to work the other way around.

And hey, if you want a workout plan for your mixing muscles, but you don’t have tracks to practice on to add to your portfolio, click here for the solution:
